Virtual experimental lab in Frankfurt for interested future IT professionals from 14 to 16 May
The German-wide IT initiative "Jugend hackt" offers young people with a strong interest in information technology a space for experimenting and a networking platform for exchanging ideas with like-minded people. Under the motto "Improve the world with code" the program is designed for young hackers in the German-speaking world, who want to use their technical abilities to develop digital tools, prototypes and concepts for their vision of a better future. Voluntarily working mentors with experience in a variety of technical fields assist the participants in implementing their projects.
DENIC has supported the "Jugend hackt" hackathons in Frankfurt, the location of the Cooperative's head office, since 2018. The motto of this year's online event reads "What comes after:wards?". Young people between 12 and 18 are invited to go into questions such as, What will come after Covid-19? Which changes will Covid-19 bring about in society? What can we learn from the crisis? More information on the initiative, various local events and registration details are available at "Jugend hackt" (German only).
