The Topics at a First Glancee Topics at a First Glance
Community: One of the highlights of 2022 was the return to face-to-face contact with the domain industry and with our members. Finally, we could welcome them again at events like the Domain pulse in the historical plenary chamber of the German parliament in Bonn.
Technology: Enhancing the performance and future viability of our technical systems to an even higher level created excellent conditions for a relaxed approach to the classification of our registration services as part of Germany's critical infrastructure and is a perfect basis for our new DENIC Cloud.
Policy: In the policy field, we have closely followed and actively supported the developments around legislative initiatives such as the NIS2 Directive and the Digital Services Act. We want to ensure that DENIC and its members are well prepared for the upcoming challenges and can do their business successfully.
