We doubt whether there are christmasy, golden lights twinkling at the tops of our trees to celebrate the season. What is certain, however, is that our DENIC Forest is growing: 292 trees have been added this year and in the Hessen Forest near the city of Hanau, more than 100,000 young, robust English oaks are now growing - thanks in part to our support.
Forest maintenance is not the only thing we do to preserve the environment and biodiversity. This summer, a so-called bee embassy was also installed in Hessen Forst, sponsored by DENIC. This is a species-appropriate dwelling with perfect geometry for honey bees. As the honey is not removed, we are ensuring a healthy future for the bees.
As we do every year, we are once again supporting children in special situations with our fundraising campaigns in 2023. For many years, Arche Frankfurt, the association Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt and Aktion Wünschewagen have been able to count on us, and not just at Christmas.
2023 was a very good year for DENIC. The commitment and drive of our new and old employees have contributed significantly to this. This is because the workforce grew significantly in 2023. A sign of our appreciation for their manpower, which we are determined to retain. And, of course, we celebrated our successes together.
